Dimensions: The full size is 58x52" for your back seat; the half bench for your front seat is 29x48 (The 52" is the height of the back seat version, the 48" the height of the front seat version; the other dimensions are length [left door to right door] of your seat.)
The rubberized backing provides for a "non-slide" factor on the Car Robe, without leaving marks on your car seat. It is not, however, glue. It may slide to some extent if a heavy person, dog moves on it, but it provides more stability than would otherwise be the case.
The new rear seat car robe has two improvements (not shown in photograph).
1) Slots already made for your rear seat belts to slip through.
2) Special weights at that part of the robe where the seat part of the robe meets
the part that goes up over the back of your rear seat. Those weights slip down
through the crevice in your rear seat where the seat part of your back seat meets
the back of the seat, and will hold the robe more tightly and securely to your seat.

Note the strap on the back, which fits between your back seat and the frame of your car (yes, you can pull your back seat forward on most cars and slip that strap behind your seat and between it and the frame of your car) if you can't do that you should be able to find a groove behind the back seat and the frame though which this strap can slip; also note the clips/weights at the bottom, they do not clip to anything under your back seat, they act as a "drag" to stabilize the car robe at the bottom. On the newest version there are slots cut in the robe for your seat belts, and also special weights to slip into the crevice where your seat part of the robe meets the back of the car seat. Those weights hold the robe more tightly and securely to your car seat.
On the Half Bench Version on the front seat the bottom weights/clips should actually clip to a metal bar under the front seat. If your front seat does not have such a metal bar, or any other device to which they may be clipped, this product in the Half Bench size, may or may not work for you.
